I would like to introduce you to my sixteen-year-old granddaughter, Anna. I, like most grandmothers, love to brag on my grandchildren. Anna is a very talented young lady. She enjoys painting, drawing, sewing and dancing. She loves hanging out with friends and her family. She is a very happy young lady, but most of all, she loves the Lord. So, when she posted the following post on Instagram, I thought it was worth sharing. Sometimes because of all the negative things that are going on in our world with our youth I think that we don’t see the good that there is. I hope that this will brighten your day.

This year was full of beautiful little moments, and it is all thanks to God. There’s always good in every single second that we’re given. Our life on this earth is short, 2022 showed me to enjoy all of it. Even if things don’t go the way we want them to, even if we can’t see the good in every day, at the end of the day God is still with us through it all and that makes every single second beautiful. We can’t live this life without God, we can have every single thing that we think that we need and still be empty. Pure joy comes from the Lord, so we need to look for Him in every single thing that we do. Romans 14:8 says,” for if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s”.
So, here’s to living 2023 for God, finding His beauty and joy in every single second and never giving up.
