Look around and you will see
Lush green grass and beautiful trees
Flowers blooming on a hill
So much beauty your eyes to fill.
Children playing in the park
Such sweet sounds from a lark
Deep blue oceans and warm white sand
Fertile valleys and mountain land.
As beautiful as these things seem
They pale in comparison to the gleam
Of the treasures waiting up there
Nothing here can compare.
So enjoy the beauties of this earth
But realize the limits of their worth
Leaving this place may be tough
But He’s saving the good stuff.
He’s saving the good stuff
For the ones who accepted His name
For the ones who served in silence
For the ones who carried the flame
For the ones who suffered here
For the ones who bore their cross
For the ones who know He’s near
He’s saving the good stuff!
